it suprises me that of the possible current events one could discuss here, that no one has brought up the earthquake that has devastated our family (africans) in haiti. and are we somehow avoiding talking about the blatantly racist comments of the jerry falwellish puppet: pat robertson--- do we not talk about it in order to not "feed it", or could it be that we too have bought into the political propaganda concerning africans on another land?
